Connecting the Passion with the Mommies on the Parenting Journey
About Mothering by SimplyLove
My name is Cathy. I’m a career mom living with my hubby and 2 kids in Hawaii. When I was small, I thought my wish was simple. I just wanted to be happy. When I had grown up, I realized pursuit of happiness is not that simple. Crafting the route to happiness on the parenting journey is slippery. We define what we want and use a strategy to get there, isn’t it? Sometimes, I’m not so sure what I really want. We are human with a complexity of desires and passions.
I’m a city woman but obsess with the tranquility of suburban living I’m an authority mom to my children but is still a silly little girl in heart I want to be productive but have the tendency for sleeping all the time I’m an introvert but love to have people around me
I start this mothering magazine seeking for connecting the passions with other parents.
1. Simplify Everyday Life to Make a Statement about Individuality
I want to find the tools, tactics, tips and strategies for simplifying everyday life. Make simple is not easy. It's important to create margin for getting the time and energy for what we care most.
2. Sweet Home On My Own Term
A home is a welcoming place to friends and family. It should be a lovely place where you want to stay. The sweet home is the toy of woman including and not limited to comfortable, pleasant, tidy, fun, unique décor, and safe.
3. Raise Happy Kids from Different Perspectives
How to upset a mom in 10 seconds or less? It is when someone tries to tell you how to raise your child. There has never been a perfect mom or flawless parent. Parenting journey is always rough around the edges. There is no ideal key or right answer that can unlock the future. When I was a child, my mom tried to do everything right to path the way for making my life happy. She was not so much successful, indeed. When the conventional wisdom is shaping our worldview, the opposite side can help us to learn more. Unconventionality isn’t a goal in itself, but it means looking at the world through an inquisitive lens as we did when we were a child.
