My name is Cathy who is a middle-aged career woman with a small family. Ever wonder the traditional schooling system and our parents never taught us to explore who we are. Conversely, they implanted the stereotype to tell what we learned to be:
Extroverts in the spotlight of every social event;
Winner in a race to get pick;
Get a great deal of money;
Leader to attract followers;
Seeking certainty by avoiding risk;
Graduate from a top school;
Study popular subjects in university.
Do I amount to nothing if I’m not able to embrace these elements? I work hard to ensure a tick with the above average on these criteria. However, I remained stuck in the wrong career, hopping from company to company. All my bosses and partners were jerks. Why do I feel like I climb up the ladder and realize it is leaning against the wrong wall?
I feel like I’m a ground squirrel with a repeated pattern, and realize I’m not the only one. Most of my friends get the problem such as:
Susan is looking for a long-term relationship, wants to marry a good man, raise the kids to live a happy life. Those are the humble wishes of a woman. She asks herself, why can’t I always get what I want? My husband betrayed me. My kid hated me.
Amy has climbed the corporate ladder in a short period. She is never short of money with a good husband and adorable children. While everyone admires her, why she doesn’t feel happy.
Ann loves growing and learning. She attended plenty of workshops, changed jobs, started-up her own business. It seems like all these are not working for her. What wrong with her?
Jenny couldn’t understand why all her bosses and boyfriends were jerks. She is facing repeating patterns in life. How to change the repeating pattern.
When everything appears to go perfect in Mandy’s life, suddenly terrible thing happens such as serious illness, business failure, get fired, and her loved one passed away. All her pillars suddenly collapse all at once…
We studied a lot from books, coachers, workshops to know many hacks and useful ideas. Why don't we apply what we have learned? You guess what? The best way to solve the problem is by jumping into the eye of the turbulence to find our root cause. Otherwise, the same subject will happen again and again until we've learned and make changes.
I’m here as a journalist to research batches of resources to help myself seeking answers for the turning point, in-dept. There are hidden hacks that nobody talks about self-help and raising kids. It’s a turning point to level-up for living a happy, abundant, and prosperous life.
I invite you to join me on this journey to seek a path forward with guidance and offer solace about what’s happening and what’s next.
