Financial difficulties are common and easily trigger negative emotions (like anger, anxiety, agitation, and fear). What if you’re broke? You fear you will lose your house, your self-respect, and everything.
How much money can I earn?
How big is my bank account?
While unemployed, I became obsessed with the stock market for quick money. As a result, I lost plenty of money. I was greedy, thirsted for money, and feared losing money. My poverty mentality made me regret every decision to buy and sell the stock at the wrong price.
One day, I bought a stock in the stock market, and its price rose by 10%. To secure a profit, I sold all of my stock quantity. However, the stock price continued to go up crazy. My husband blamed me for my impulsive decision, and we quarreled over it. This incident was a half-glass water story that happened in real life. I wondered why I was so angry about it. After all, I didn't suffer any monetary loss but just earned less.
Did I angry with my hubby to blame me?
Did I angry with myself to make the stupid decision?
When I gained less, I felt upset (due to greediness)
When I suffer lost, I was angry (due to self-blame)
However, how unlikely I could always pick the perfect stock, buy at the bottom cost, sell at the ceiling price, and optimize the profit. Thus, I would always be overwhelmed with fear, anxiety, and anger to play this game.
Ever wonder if what goes around will come around? The negative energy (greed, fear, and self-blame) that goes around will come around. I realized something was wrong. Gambling out of fear and greed will never solve the money problem. The starting point was to change the mindset.
And then, I realized I had to change.
1. Abundance Thinking vs. Poverty Thinking
Reprogram the subconscious mind from poverty mentality to abundance mentality.
Opportunities are limited,
Things will never work out
Wealth is beyond my reach
even what I have now can be taken from me at any moment
I deserve abundance
I am prosperous and have plenty
I am the magnet of abundance
I welcome and accept the abundance of wealth flowing into my life effortlessly, joyfully, and happily.
2. Money Follows Joy
Why do you do what you are doing?
Follow your heart's wisdom to do what makes your heart sing.
You know what you do has the meaning, magic, and miracles in your life.
Just do it. Don’t look around, let’s see what happens.
The money will take care of itself.
3. Keep learning to play the infinite game
Keep moving and keep learning.
Success requires persistence and repetition to master a skill.
Always remember that failure is a stepping stone to success.
What is working?
What is not working?
What can I do differently to make me do a better job next time?
Never use compare-and-contrast of this very moment to define the win or loss.
Always remember that today is not the goal.
I continue to have an interest in trading in the stock market. But I do it differently. The good news is I make a profit for almost every trade.
