Why do children lie? The children tell lies because they want to escape the blame, or try to avoid the consequences, or confuse the reality with the imagination, or the parents are overreacting when the child is doing something wrong. The following storytelling activity can apply to a child over the age of 3 years old aim at helping the child to distinguish between imagination and reality. Steps:
